final answer: On most of the holidays we have and celebrate we always eat something on every holiday like thanksgiving for example, we eat turkey. Christmas ham and prime rib. Easter ham. So each holiday almost everybody eats a special food. During holloween we eat candy, and during people's birthdays we have cake.

Mandy says: On Halloween little kids dress up in costumes and go around to peoples houses asking for candy.
Alex says: On Christmas we wake up early and get alot of presents from our parents and other people.

sediger: Parents tell their young children that on Christmas Eve night, a big fat man dressed in a red and white suit (known as Santa Clause), goes through everyone's chimany and gives presents to good boys and girls. (He basicly travels the whole world in one night in a flying slay with flying reigndeer.
grady: for christmas we set up a tree and a big old fat guy in a red suit sets presents under our trees.

Alyssa says, " For Thansgiving, we have turkey, mashed potatoes, and other items of our choice. Christmas, " Santa Clause" puts presents under the tree. For New Year's, we stay up until midnight and watch the ball drop for the new year."
For Thanksgiving we have alot of food and give thanks

Christmas is the Celebration of the birth of Christ. In my family, we go to church on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day we exchange gifts. Most people in the U.S. celebrate the 4th of July because it's our country's independence day. Most everyone sets off fireworks at night and spends time with friends and family at Barbaques or picnics during the day.
